Vouchery.io Blog Content Creation Guidelines

Would you like to publish your content on the Vouchery Blog? We're thrilled!

Readable

Our audience is busy and highly knowledgeable, so clarity matters. We value writing that is easy to navigate, free from unnecessary jargon, and structured so readers can quickly grasp key ideas without sacrificing depth.

Informative

Every post should offer real value to marketing, tech, and business leaders by sharing actionable insights, data-driven perspectives, or expert knowledge they can apply directly to their work.

Engaging

Great content with visual examples draws the reader in.

We look for stories, use cases, and a tone that captures attention, encourages curiosity, and inspires readers to explore ideas further.

Please make sure to read our content guidelines below and send your topic ideas to hello@vouchery.io with the subject line: Request for Editorial Contribution to the Vouchery.io Blog.

01

Content Style & Voice

  • Audience & Tone: Aim for an approachable, marketer, business leader, or developer-first tone (depends on the content category) that blends professionalism with genuine enthusiasm for coupon & loyalty marketing, AI e-commerce tactics, and tech-driven promotional solutions.

  • Author Attribution: Including a writer's byline (e.g., “Writer: Evelyn” or “Hannah”) and a short bio, explaining the writer's expertise and background - this gives the reader industry perspective context and helps us to humanize our content.

02

Structure & Readability

  • Feature a Clear Headline: Should be concise, benefit-focused, and include key terms (e.g., “Smart Coupons, Big Wins: How Precision Promotions Drive Real Business Results in 2025”)

  • Intro Paragraph: Give a quick overview or hook to explain what the article will cover and why it's relevant.

  • Subheads: Use clear, descriptive subheadings (e.g., “Understanding Consumer Skepticism”, “Best Practices for Trustworthy and Convincing Coupon Promotions”)

  • Body Formatting: Break text into short paragraphs and bullet lists to enhance skimmability. Where useful, insert insights or callouts (e.g., “79% of B2C leaders believe their customers trust their brand, but only 52% actually do”)

03

Word Count & Read Time Consistency

  • Typical Length: Posts vary—from quick reads (~4 min read) to deeper dives (~8min read)

  • Guideline:
    • Short-Form (Quick Tips / News): ~400–600 words.
    • Long-Form (Guides / Strategic Insights): ~1,500–2,500 words
    • Our sweet spot would be 1,800-2,000 words.

04

Credibility & Sourcing

  • Data & Quotes: Include data points and expert quotes to strengthen trust (e.g., “79% of B2C leaders … only 52% of consumers actually do.”), example: Vouchery.

  • Attribution: Attribute data and quotes clearly, just as the article does with Abhi Madan and cited figures here: Vouchery.

05

Visuals & Media

  • Images: Include relevant, branded visuals to showcase the industry examples and trends. Example posts typically feature hero images (e.g., Smart Coupons, Big Wins…) with descriptive alt text.

  • Infographics & Screenshots: Use to illustrate industry data, workflows, or dashboards (like Vouchery Campaign Dashboard)

06

SEO Best Practices

  • SEO Title & Meta Description: Craft compelling meta titles and descriptions with keywords for SERP visibility. E.g., “How Personalized Coupon Marketing Outperforms Generic Sales | Vouchery Blog.”

  • URL Slugs: Keep them short, relevant, and keyword-rich (e.g., /how-personalized-coupon-marketing-outperforms-generic-sales).
